Short answer: order by 18 November. That is the last date we can be confident a Christmas order lands in time. Order on Black Friday and it arrives somewhere between 10 December and 4 January, which is a gamble we would rather you took knowingly.
Why the cutoff is that early
Two separate clocks run on every order, and people usually only count the second one.
Preparation: 2 to 5 business days. Our seasonal pieces are prepared to order rather than pulled off a shelf. Nothing moves during this window, and it does not run over weekends or public holidays.
Transit: 7 to 20 business days. The spread is wide because it depends on the route and on how congested the network is that week. Late November and December are the most congested weeks of the year.
Added together that is roughly 9 to 25 business days door to door. Business days, not calendar days. Twenty-five business days is about five weeks on a calendar once weekends and Thanksgiving are taken out. Count back five weeks from Christmas and you land in the middle of November.
What this means for Black Friday
This is the part worth being blunt about. A Black Friday order entering a network at its busiest point, with a 20 business day worst case, lands in early January. If the gift has to be under a tree on 25 December, Black Friday is too late for us. If you are buying for yourself or for the new year, it is fine.
If you have left it late
- Order the thing, give the picture. Print the product page and wrap that. It works better than people expect.
- Buy for the season, not the day. Outdoor lighting has a long season. Something that arrives on 2 January still gets used every evening until spring.
- Do not rely on an estimate you have not seen in writing. If a date matters, email us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it is realistic.

You can cancel any order for a full refund within 48 hours of placing it. If something arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, send a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we replace it or refund you, and you keep the item.
